Terms of service
Last updated 11 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Northvale Technologies Ltd, a UK company ("we", "us"), for your use of FounderPipe, the CRM at founderpipe.com. By creating an account or using FounderPipe you agree to them. If you are signing up for a business, you confirm you can bind it to these terms.
Your account
- You must give accurate details, keep your password and two-factor codes to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.
- An account belongs to a business or a person and has one or more teammates. The people who create the account and who hold the Owner role manage its team, workspaces and plan, and are responsible for what everyone on the account does with FounderPipe.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and use FounderPipe for business purposes.
The free trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial of everything, with no payment card needed. When the trial ends we do not charge you. Until you choose a plan your account is limited to the people and workspaces that Starter allows, and your data is left untouched. Choosing a plan lifts the limits to that plan's.
Plans and payment
- FounderPipe is sold as plans, billed monthly per account in US dollars. The plans, what each allows and their prices are on the homepage.
- Payments are taken by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
- A plan renews each month until you cancel it. You can change plan, update your card, see invoices and cancel from the Billing page in the app, which takes you to Stripe's own page for this.
- If you cancel, you keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for and nothing more is charged. After that the account is limited as it is at the end of a trial, and your data is left untouched.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and we will tell the account owner. If it cannot be collected the plan ends in the same way as a cancellation.
- We may change our prices. A change applies to your next renewal after we have told the account owner by email, so you can cancel first if you do not want it.
- Prices exclude any VAT or sales tax that applies, which is added where required.
- If you think you have been charged in error, write to [email protected] and we will put it right.
Your data
The contacts, companies, deals, notes and other records you put into FounderPipe are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so that we can run FounderPipe for you, as set out in our privacy policy, which also explains who helps us do that. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to hold and contact the people in your CRM, and for what you write and import.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use FounderPipe to:
- break the law, or the rights of other people, including data protection and electronic marketing law (such as the UK GDPR and PECR, and the equivalents where your recipients are);
- send unsolicited bulk email, or email to people who have asked you to stop. Sequence emails carry an unsubscribe link and you must not work around it;
- send malware, phishing or deceptive messages, or pretend to be someone you are not;
- probe, overload or attempt to get around the security or limits of FounderPipe, or use it to build a competing service;
- upload special-category personal data (for example health or criminal records) that a sales CRM has no need for.
We may pause sending, or suspend an account, when sending causes complaints or bounces that put our delivery at risk, or when these rules are broken. Where we can, we will tell you first and say why.
AI features
Replies can be sorted and emails drafted with Anthropic's Claude model, only for workspaces whose owner switches those features on. Suggestions do nothing until a person accepts them, and you remain responsible for what you send. Details of what is shared are in the privacy policy.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep FounderPipe running and will take reasonable care in providing it, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or error-free. We will improve and change the service over time. If we make a change that takes away something material that you pay for, we will tell account owners first.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using FounderPipe at any time, and can close your account by writing to [email protected]. We may end or suspend your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. What happens to your data when an account closes is set out in the privacy policy.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, we are not liable for lost profit, lost business or indirect loss, and our total liability to you for anything arising from FounderPipe in any twelve months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. FounderPipe is a tool for managing your own sales work: the decisions you make with it, and the messages you send from it, are yours.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. If a change matters to what you have paid for, we will email account owners before it takes effect, and carrying on after that means you accept it.
The small print
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can settle any dispute, though if you are a consumer you keep the rights you have under the law where you live. If we cannot do something because of events outside our control, we are not in breach. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
